Income protection insurance is practical

It wasn’t that David was afraid of his fiancé, it was that he didn’t want to seem unromantic.  That was the main reason he didn’t want his relatives constantly reminding him to get insurance, particularly income protection insurance.  He understood the reasoning, the insurance benefits would be tax free and paid out in the case that he was injured or incapacitated. The benefits would last until he recovered, died or the policy ran out. He knew that overall it made good sense, but it didn’t seem like something he or his bride would want to think about right away.  He gave it some more thought and realized that while this was not exactly the most romantic thought, it was preferable than the thought of his beloved to have to go without an income if he were injured.  He did not want her to have to struggle to make ends meet.
