Little was not very little.  But he knew that words were only as good as the meanings behind them, and from his point of view he could hear everything and the words he didn’t know could be easily comprehended from the tone of voice of the speaker and by the way they stared at the computer.  The man at the desk stared ahead at the screen. His hands flew back and forth across the keys.  He muttered under his breath, a worried tone in his whispers.  Another man came into the room and peered at the screen. He joined the murmurs.  Little heard the words app developer.  He had heard these words before and knew that they had something to do with the typing and the pictures and lights that flashed on the screen. Whatever it was it made the men whisper and then shout with glee when the lights got brighter.  He wondered if the brighter lights meant something good had happened and that whatever the clacking meant had worked out.
